It’s not every maternity session that you get three solid days with the mom-to-be and endless chances to say “want to walk a mile back out to the beach for some more” but then again not every session is with your very accomodating sister-in-law at a beach house in Nags Head either! Last weekend I was lucky enough to actually be a bridesmaid again in a very close friend’s wedding and enjoyed a few days prior with my family in North Carolina. My brother and his wife Karen are expecting their first baby this summer so that made it all the more exciting considering our plan was to work in her maternity session (or several of them if you were to ask my mom lol).
Despite the weather conditions being a bit less than favorable with 40% chances of rain every day and terribly strong winds circling all around, Karen luckily for me is ALL about some maternity pictures!! (And it never hurts to attend a chic Stella & Dot Jewelry party and snag a very fitting “mom” charm the day before either!) Only a few more weeks to go and there will be a new addition to our growing clan AND a new playmate for Roman and Gina!
